What we are looking for:

TechMD ( is looking for a smart, capable, and all-around enjoyable Account Manager.

Position Summary

TechMD’s Account Manager responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with your assigned client base.  Your day will be filled with constant communication between your client base and the internal cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs. You will also seek opportunities to drive project revenue with your client base as well as grow relationships with your customers by offering enhancements and developing an awareness and understanding of the full breadth of our solution. You will serve as the face of the company and the primary company representative who communicates with clients.  As a result, it is important to deliver a positive customer service experience.  This is accomplished by listening to each client to gain an understanding of their individualized needs, then direct them to the appropriate product or service.  Our Account Manager must be able to read people and connect meaningfully with a variety of personalities.  You must understand that all progress is made through relationships.  You must know when to take the lead in relationship development and when to enable others to take the lead.  Account Managers must have laser focus on getting results for the customer, be proactive and not wait for the customer to notice they are not on track to achieving a particular goal. In addition, you must have a “no excuses” mindset and do what needs to be done along with having the ability to coordinate multiple resources to achieve the desired outcome.  You will take the blame for failures and give credit to the team for successes because you are driven by outcomes, not ego.

What you will be doing on a daily basis:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for any and all matters specific to your client base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with client base
  • Assist in delivering total customer satisfaction
  • Help clients through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings
  • Oversee customer account management
  • Liaise between the customer and internal teams
  • Develop a trusted adviser relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives
  • You will serve as your clients’ advocate to TechMD as well as the advocate for TechMD to the client
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
  • Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships
  • Responsible for driving project revenue with your client base
  • Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of the client
  • Is a student of the client’s business and understands how they make money
  • Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Ability to analyze, make decisions and solve problems
  • Meet the performance goals established by your direct supervisor
  • Read, understand, and follow all company and job-related policies and procedures
  • Attend both on-site and off-site client meetings as required
  • Attend required company and departmental meetings
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by direct supervisor

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including Executive and C- level
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Excellent customer service and follow through skills
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High-energy, self-motivated, well-organized
  • Ability to function within and contribute to a positive, team oriented environment
  • Ability to make decisions in matters of significance

  • Enthusiasm in regards to working in a fun, but hard-working environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 10lbs.

  • This is a full-time job
  • Must have clean driving record and be able to pass a drug test
  • Must have auto insurance and a valid California Driver's License
  • Compensation: Salary plus commission 
  • Location: Santa Ana (South Coast Metro), CA.
  • This position is full-time (Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M).
