Position Overview
As a Technology Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities by acquiring new clients and expanding our footprint as a Managed Services Provider (MSP). Your focus will be on building strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing solutions that align with our organizational objectives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Primary Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify and research prospective clients to grow the sales pipeline.
- Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and attending technology industry events.
Conduct in-person and virtual presentations to demonstrate the value of our technology solutions.
Build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their technical requirements and business objectives.
Closing Deals and Negotiation:
Craft compelling proposals which outline how TechMD service offering will address client needs.
Lead contract negotiations and secure agreements that benefit both the client and TechMD.
Market and Technology Insight:
Stay updated on the latest technology trends, market opportunities, and competitor activities.
Provide valuable insights to internal teams to enhance product offerings and address emerging client challenges.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding of new clients.
Maintain accurate records in sales support tools and regularly report on sales activities, pipeline and outcomes
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably within the technology sector.
Ability to quickly grasp new technology concepts and solutions.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is preferred.
Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend events.
A degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related fields is a plus.
Base salary of 60k annually, plus commission.
